Light Compatibility With Bubble Tip Anemone

What size tank?

But, given that these are considered "supplemental" lights, and are all blue, I don't see them working no matter how small the tank.

I dont think the nem will flourish well... even if your tank is a pico with those just 6 LEDs alone... I would suggest an additional strip or two at minimal (with white LEDs).. Otherwise, using just the 6 LEDs at a 2 inch spread are just going to extend the duration of photosynthetic starvation... or if you put those 6 LEDs in the formation of how they have par38, the nem might stand a chance..

Would a Green Bubble Tip do well with six LED actinic lights? http://www.rapidled.com/servlet/the-143/06-LED-Actinic-Supplement/Detail

Those LEDs are only meant to add color, not promote growth of corals, and not enough for any host nem.

Might want to double check on that. Those are Cree Royal Blue LEDs and are 450 nm which from my understanding is in the PAR Range, and the white LEDs are usually just used to balance out the colors and make the tank look better while the blue LEDs are what actually provide the majority of light for photosynthesis. I could be wrong, but that's been my understanding since I started reefing and I've read and been told this many times..

In most led fixture's the majority of leds are blue and only a few white to balance the color . For instance my zeoled fixture has 16 leds and only 4 are white and I have 2 bubble tip nem's that are fine it more about how much par they put out that's what make the zooxanthelia produce the majority of the food for the nem . So measure the par and see what they have and go from their .

You may be right, I just looked at the description that said easy way to add blue, and usually when I see inexpensive sets like that they are just the color enhancers.
