i have one on my two frag tanks. the thing is they are built for grow ops and are made of cheap chinese crap. the tracks dont run straight and the motor has a problem with the slightest of weight. Also i have it suspended via 2x4. not that appealing. i only use it now to shift the lights from one tank to the next.
I am looking at one of the higher end units. not cheap by any means. i am just wondering how a display tank would look with one it seems like it wouldnt look right
Honestly i dont have a link its in my garage. All the ones I have seen are made of really cheap plastic this one is all aluminum just seems better built
I have the light rail 3.5. I only have the rail mounted and haven't hooked it up yet. I initially was going to run 2 - 400W halides in lumenarc III reflectors over my 370gal, but have since decided to go the LED route. Since I doubt I'll get much money for it, I'll rig it up to move my 5 par38 LED bulbs. Long term, I'll need more lights, but we'll see how this works while the tank cycles. I'm probably 2-3 weeks away from getting it hooked up.
