light salvage?

I have a little power coralife compact that recently took a bath. I have been trying to dry it out, in the hopes that it might work again someday. Does anyone have any experience with this? It smells a little fried, but I don't see any visual damage. How long should I dry it out? Could it be just the bulb? Is there some sort of fuse in the fixture? Any help is appreciated!

what size, bulb wattage and pin type? if you got water on the pins it probably shorted out the internal fuse of the ballast. so its toast. is it an internal ballast or remote in a box?
if its a single lamp, twin tube, 36,55 or 65 watt PC this ballast is what i use. and most strip light manufacturers too.

i buy these and make my own lights.
