Light Upgrade From 175MH To 250 HQI DEs

I just upgraded my lights from 175 MH SE to 250W MH HQI DE.. Its a retro fit and I am happy. Now lets see what the corals think.

Old setup 175w MH SE

Empty Cross Brace

Mounted 250w DE PFO pendents with quick disconnect

Mounted 250w DE PFO pendent reflectors

Ballast

Old 175w MH SE XM 10K

New 250w MH HQI DE Giesemann 10K

Looks good.... Do you have any other supplementation ?? I have 250w DE's that I plan on using, but was going to go with a 14K I think to try to get more "blue"....

Yeah I also have a couple of Corallife True Actinc 03 Blue 48' but its not helping much as these 250w are really white. But I kind of am getting use to it.. We will see. I am thinking of setting up VHO retro as supplement for more blue.

nice, the tank definitely looks brighter now. the fixture I got from you works fine bro' It's blowing my frags away, oh well more growth I guess.

Them Giesemann are nice lights and bright to. My brother uses them on his tank.
