I use an AC Jr and it works really well. After reading the link you provide, it appears the main differences between the AC Jr and the lighthouse are:
AC Jr:
Controls 8 outlets individually with the DC-8 that you get with the base package.
Can control up to 12 outlets individually.
Each outlet is fully customizable for whatever you want to control.
No network connection, but web interface availble with a serial port connection and the AquaNotes software.
Only has a pH monitor.
LightHouse:
Only controls 4 outlets, and those 4 outlets have limited options for control.
It doesn't look like it is expandable to more than the 4 controlled outlets.
Has web interface and network connection built in.
Can monitor pH and ORP.
For the price of a LightHouse, you could get an AC Jr + DC-8 (8 outlet box) + a pH probe. There may even be a group buy going on at Reefstop.com or someplace like that with lower pricing. I think there is an active thread about the group buy going on...
