I just got my 440 watt 48 inch vho reto with new reflector and hooked it up . I turned it on i my small kitchen and I think I burnt my my retnas man they are bright . They all lit are they supposed to be that bright?

I feel you man. I have 4x110 VHO Actinic and 4x65 PC Daylight on a 60G and I actually get yelled at when the canopy is open for to long.

Oh and with these babies on my power bill went up $100 a month.

thats not alot of light, thats just perfect.

Yea if you look into the bulbs they will be real bright.

You can always go with actinics or 50/50s
