I am currently running Phoenix bulbs and really like the color, but changing my fixture as I currently don't have supplementation. I work from home quite often and want the tank lit as long as possible, which isn't the best way to obtain sps growth. My fixture will be 2 x 250hqi + 4 x 54 t5. I was thinking of running xm10ks for growth 7hrs/day with blue+,aquablue 12k, purple +, blue + 12hrs/day. My other thought was phoenix 14ks and true actinic, aquablue 12k, purple plus, true actinic 12 hrs/day. Which would you use and why? Other suggestions welcome.
Note: Hqi ballasts are giesemann, also have lumatek selectable on hand.
