hi...

our tank is a 33 long and we have a closed system with a 20 refugium and a 20 sump for our skimmer etc...the tank is only 13 inches deep, thus where our lighting concerns come in...

we are looking to start keeping sps corals this summer ...

what do you recommend...

any advice is much appreciated as this is a big price tag item!!!

thank you!

T5 would probably be a good setup for you.

I run halides and are biased twards them because of the shimmer lines. In a shallow tank temperature and burning coral can be a problem with halides if not carefull.

T5 are really bright and can be used for light hungy corals. Plus they dont put off much heat.
