Lighting for a red carpet nem

Hello all I'm looking for options on lighting for a red carpet nem. I am considering LED or MH. The nem will be in a tank no more then 10" high. So I need any imput so I can decide what light to chose. This will be the only thing in the tank along with a pair of maroon clowns. Thank you, Danny.The size of the tank is 20x20x10 so I need something that will fit this size tank.

MH is ridiculous on a 10"H aquarium as will be the heat from it. LED or T5 are more then enough on just about any standard store bought aquarium. S. haddoni will quickly grow to 2'ø, your aquarium is really too small, it's going to take up that entire space.

Like was mentioned, that tank is going to be way too small for an S. Haddoni. Heck, my red Haddoni is about 20" in diameter right now.

For the lighting i was considering the 70w viper unit or a led unit. Not sure what led unit would be good. I know the MH would be to much heat for the tank, but im not to familiar with the led units and not sure if the nem would have enough light with the led. I need some suggestions on what led units would be good for it.

Thing is, the lighting won't really matter -- that tank is just too small for an S. Haddoni. Red Haddonis are very difficult to find, and would be a big shame to attempt to put it in a tank that just isn't suited for it.

I have a Bright Green Haddoni thats about 8"+/- in dia. thats now in a 190g and the guy just takes up space. This is one of the many reasons I upgraded to 190g. I lost a few prized fishes to my Haddoni, due to grazing too close and limited space.

Mine does fine under 7x54w T5's and its a 190g (24"H) Tank.

LOL, same here. Theyve spawned in the past too, just got super aggressive. I still have the Haddoni and since added a pair of Picasso's Percs!!!
