lighting for bta

i dont know yet i havent purchased lighting , i have 5 tanks running and i donot want any more MH and t-5's will cost too much but i can get what i need for vho for much less

In my past experience, that is more than enough to keep them alive. I used to have a bta in a 55g with 2 110vho bulbs, and it split every couple months. I've heard of (but never tried) people keeping them successfully under just two 40w NO bulbs in a 55g tank.

I had PC lighting over my tank for a while and my BTA did just fine. It even cloned itself before I switched to the T-5s. You'll have enough light to keep them.

sweet. thanks , ive never had luck keeping bta's due to power heads i just finished setting up a RR90 gal with closed loop and no power heads , origanily i was going to set it up strickly preditor but recently decided make it a reef
