Lighting for frogspawn or Hammer. Is it enough?

Thanks the male did not want his picture taken kept moving lol. Thanks I am really happy with the torch and under the new lights makes it look so much better. the one head that looked bleach seems to be coming back which is great since would like to look in to some hammers and frogspawn as long as the torch keeps this up.

Yeah, definitely. I really love my branching hammer. It's so colorful and so far is proving to be a great beginner coral.

Looking forward to the torch growing and filling in that spot and then also looking forward to some hammers and frogspawn down the road.

I think the hammer will be my next choice and then the frogspawn like the way they move in the water gives more things to watch. do you have pics of your hammer?

I see you saw the pics of my hammer. Personally if I were in your position, I'd look for the regular hammer, if there is such a thing. The branching hammer is awesome too, but I like how different the regular hammer looks next to the frogspawn. But to each their own. I'm sure either would look great in your tank. :thumbsup:

Yeah I haven't fully decided also depends on what LFS has and price there is a LFS that loves to rip you off but where I am at it is a drive to a decent one. The one buy me for a frag wanted 60 for a two headed frog. the one that is a drive had the same type stuff for around thirty so think i will be driving to see what they have every once and a while.

I havent yet. I have thought about it but the prices and then shipping is sometimes outrageous with some places. Some arent bad if you are making a big order others just seem like they want to charge a arm and a leg. This si a paycheck by paycheck build up. So going slow would love to get a bigger tank but not sure if it will happen.

www.mrcoral.com has a 10$ frag section. You can get some cool stuff there. I haven't seen any hammer for sale though.

So been a few weeks now coral is looking great and I have relocated it to a better spot in the tank where it seems to be having better flow and liking it better. So I am thinking about getting another coral soon. Leaning to either a hammer or frogspawn. any ideas or suggestions will be appreciated. I will post new pics later.

Yea picked it up today and everything is looking good once i got it acclimated and secured to the rock about a hour or so later it started opening up and stretching out. Couldnt pass up on the price for a piece that size.
