Lighting for Jawdropper

I just got a piece of jawdropper in Taiwan that was flown in.

Little guy survived the long plane ride however other corals weren't so lucky. Some died because it was too cold.

Here are some pictures

Currently I am using radium 200k 250w on a tank with depth of 65 cm and the light hanging 30 cm above water surface.

The piece is currently sitting in the middle of the tank. After 2 weeks acclamation should I move it closer to the light?

Congrats on a coral that has been discussed for hours and hours. I would think it is no different from any other SPS in your tank already. The lighting should be fine and I would leave it where it is until it starts to encrust and color up. does it have any polyp extension and if so are the blue? from the looks of the picture it looks very pale so go very easy with blasting it with light until it starts to display PE and color before moving it higher. I would also give it medium flow as no one really knows much about it because it is so rare. I truly hope it colors up for you like the photographs that have been posted.

keep us posted and good luck with such a rare and very expensive coral.
