lighting for lps

I have a 90 gallon, and an 8 bulb 48 inch t5 fixture, but two of the sockets are in need of repair, would i still be able to support lps under 6 t5's?

I run a 6 bulb on my 75 and my LPS and even a few SPS are doing fine in there. I think you should be ok

ya you can support LPS with that my tank is the same depth as your with 6 bulb T5s and i can grow anything i want. I would suggest you get the sockets fixed more bulbs means more bulb combos to get the perfect color.

if you don't fix the two fixtures i would recommend switching to ATI or another high end bulb. i have an 8 lamp sun tech fixture on my 55 for my Lps and even my spa grow at about 3/4 inch per month so you are fine!
