What kinda lighting you guys running on your lps tanks. PC, T5 anyone (this is mainly my two interests). I have 4-65 watt pc's on a 46 gallon bowfront right now that I'm just starting. I don't know if i wanna move to t5's or not. You guys got some pics of PC's or T5's on your tanks?

I don't have pictures, however I can tell you for sure that you will probably be happier with T-5's over PC's. T-5's take up less room allowing you to place more bulbs in a given area; produce less heat; very power efficient; and with all the bulbs out there you're sure to find the combination that is just for you. PC's come in a very limited number of colors and K readings. T-5's also have a longer bulb life than PC's.

I just switched from pc's to a nova extreme pro and im glad i did . these t5's rip.. my torch is doing fantastic.. my shrooms are growing well my zoo,s and palys are thriving and i have some sps as well.. monticap, digi and a pora that are doing great.. .. out of the 3 lighting systems ( i have all 3 on different tanks) im most happiest with the t5's... cant beat mh for shimmer but for great coverage t5 takes it IMO. and in price!

Not beating down the pc's. I have them and like them. just see more advantages with the t5's . more options in bulbs. if an upgrade in lighting is warrented id move up to the t5's then going with a bigger pc setup. there a little more but worth the money.
