lighting help

i just bought markviiisvt4 140g and once im done giving it a good cleaning and start setting it up im going to need to light this beast i was wondering what would be the best options to go with to maximize my corals growth rate and color i plan to keep a wide variety of corals if i can any advice would be great thanks

with a tank that deep halides would be a good choice, tj had 2 400 watt se bulds over it at one time then went to 250s

I was planning on buying the 2 400's next couple days to be honest.

I have a 30" deep tank with two 150 watt de bulbs. Through my research popular opinions will tell you at least two 250 watt de (esp. for SPS) with pc actinics of your choice for color. I don't think T5's are an option with the depth of the tank. My sebae is near the bottom along with a plate coral and frogspawn and are all doing fine. I keep SPS in top 15".

thanks for thew advice i really like softies cuz of the explosive growth but i will def put some sps and i have a hammer im going to put in there a couple of zoas will also be goin in the and some birdsnest thanks for the help ya im going to be using MH jst trying to figure out how many watts and kalvin bulbs to use
