Lighting in 6ft tank

I am setting up a 125 (6ft)in the living room. Until it cycles good and gets stable it will be FOWLR, I would like to be able to keep a few anemones in there after the tank gets stable..
I have a 6ft fixture with 3-250w mh and 2 t5, but this tank has a center brace so I cant use that fixture..
Would a t5 fixture be able to support anemones or should I look into getting some Kessils..
Water depth is 24"..

How wide is the center brace,if it's only a couple inchs wide the mh and t5 fixture you got should work.

It is about 2"
Isnt that gonna cast a good sized shadow, or am I over thinking this..??

If the fixture is about 14"" above the water it shouldn't cast a shadow.

i just got 3 OR T247s for my 6ft tank and could not be happier.

My BTA's hid from my MH lights, they loved my t5ho's though. Now I've made my own led lights and all are doing great except the 2 regular greens I have, the led lights seem to be bleaching them white. The purple base/greens, multicolor, and rose BTA's seem unaffected.

i just got 3 OR T247s for my 6ft tank and could not be happier.

I just got mine about 3 weeks ago and couldn't be happier with one over my 40b :thumbsup: I finally settled on my settings of 50 blues and 20 whites. I had lost half of my acans due to my first settings of 60/40 it flat burned them up. With the lights now at 50/20 the acans that did make it are making a very fast comeback. These lights are amazing, especially coming from the Chinese Black Box.
