Lighting Question

Hello All! I just wanted to start off & say this is the best forum on the planet when comes to reef keeping! Keep up the good work!!!
Here is my question, I have a 24" diameter x 33" high cylinder aquarium & would like to use LED lighting if possible. What configuration would best suite my needs? I am planning on keeping mostly soft corals & perhaps clams.

I see great things for LED lights over reef tanks; but, personally, I don't think the technology is there yet. Unless you want to spend > $1300 on a lighting system. There are good LED systems for fish only tanks for less, but if you want to keep clams then you need something close to MH or T5.

If you are still considering, and have the coin, then I would look at Solaris. But like I said, you will pay a lot for new technology.

If not, I would look at a 150 W HQI set-up or T-5.
