Lighting Question

Hello everyone I am still pondering my lighting scheme on the 125g. I am in between 250's and 400's. Would 3 400w halides be too much? Along with two 160w VHOs? Or should I just run 3x400 20k. What about 3x250 14k with 4x65w t-5. I will be keeping a variety of thing. Clams, lots of zoanthids, S. haddoni, some montiporas, maybe some acros down the line, and a couple of LPS. So pretty much a mixed reef. There is just so many different options. TIA

For a standard 125, I would use the 250 watt setup. You can use those for tanks up to 30" deep.

i agree 250W would work for a 125 noprob, i use 250W on my 55 with actinics, i find the 20k to be to blue for me, but the mix between the 10k MH and actinic bulbs works great.
