Lighting Questions for a 90 Gallon

I am setting up a 90 gallon tank and want to put some lights in the canopy. I am really torn on what kind of lighting to go with and was just wondering if anyone can offer up some advice.

I am considering VHO b/c of their low operating cost and I have heard some pretty good reviews about them. My main worries are the tank being too "pink." I have heard people have had problems with this. If I do go with VHO I will get the IceCap 660 with 4X48" bulbs.

PC's are not bad as I have only ever used them, I just don't like the cost of the bulbs and I am kind of wanting to try something new.

MH's will probably drive up my tank temperature and electric bill too much. On top of that the components are expensive.

Not sure about T5's...

These are my views on reef lighting...I am by no means set in my ways about it, I just want to do a retro in my canopy. I am just keeping Softied and LSP.

Thanks a lot for the help ni advance.

Ive used all of the above lights, and for what your doing I really like the T5 HOs, the bulbs themselves last alot longer than the VHOs and put out less heat and less electricity

So I would say go with T5 HOs

I like to T5/s i have a 4 bulb tek fixture which is plenty for lower light and some sps. You could do icecap retro just my 2cents

Which would give me the more long run flexibility if I did want to go with SPS some day? With the T5's what kind of reflector would be the best?

If you have a canopy get the icecap reflectors. Sense you would be doing a retro you can start out with 4 lights and down the road you could add more when the time comes.
