lighting system plan - need some help

Right now I currently own a sunpod 150x2 hqi light fixture on my 40 gallon tank.

I am moving to a 120g tank right now and want to know what I should do.

I would really like to reuse the fixture, I can secure it in the hood with no problem.

I do know that 2x150 is not enough light for a mixed reef.

What added Flouresent light could I add to the 10k 2x150mh lights i already own to support a mixed reef.

4 VHO?
4 T5?

or do I need to scrap the 2x150 fixture and move to 2x250?
I don't want to have to get new MHs if possible...

So you think that if I went with

2x150w 10K MH
2x54w Aqua Blue Tek T5
2x54w Pure Actinic Tek T5

I should be able to support clams and sps even though the tank is 25 inches high

I stand corrected. Didnt mean to steer you wrong. It's the 150 Watt lamps that throw me off. If your MH lights are XM's you may want to look at sanjay's par ratings for the 150's

If Rob is correct, now that I checked, I think he is... You may want to go with 2 ea daylight lamps and 2 Blue+ in the T5's. The T5 daylight lamps have pretty good par and would be a good addition. I read over the original post and dont see where XM's are referred to unless the sunpods come wiht them. I also believe that the XM HQI lamps are Double Ended, in which case I think you need to check PAR readings for what Sanjay has labled XMD's being XM's Double Ended lamps
