tom

Yes, I have tested the lumenmax.. just need to find time to write up the results. Basically you wont go wrong with either one.

I have been using the lumenmax reflectors for 3 months now.

Im very pleased with the spread and how much brighter my system is now.

thumbs up !

like Sanjay said you cant go wrong with them

I am very happy especially with the price and quality

and with the mogul socket they sell for this ther is no sagging even with a 1000 watt halide

it is a steel post they use for this the size of your finger

Are you using 1000watts?! Neato, I plan to as well. Sanjay...you gotta find a way to use a 220v outlet...then I can send you a 1000wattHQI ballast (and a regular 1000watt is easy to find) and we can test some 1000watt bulbs?!?! I want to see how a 10,000K stacks up to a 20,000K as this level (I bet the 20,000K has higher PAR), and by how much of a margin it spanks 400watters...

Let me get done with the current backlog, and then I will seriously look into the 1000W feasibility. May be a long extension cord is a solution to getting the 220V where I need it.

I have finished with the 20+ 175W lamps now, and have the complete line of Giesman and Krystal Star lamps in queue, for when I can find the time to test them.

has anyone tried the 400 watt 18 k crystal star mogul lamps

i just recieved one today to test on a hqi ballast

i was told that they dont give good par with a standard m-59 ballast

so i will see how it does on the hqi ballast

Sanjay,

Will you be testing the 400w SE Ushio 14K any time soon? I can't wait to see how it stacks up to the AC 14K.
