I was in Blacksburg today and this guy I was talking to said the T5 lighting was the future of lighting ,anyone heard anything about it or has anything to say?

I'm running t5's on both of my 75's. They are still in "break in" mode so there's not alot of stock in there. Ask me how I like them in a couple of months

Hey calibos, Met ya @ the meeting, thanks for coming.

From what i've heard about t5's , You'll get a different answer from everyone you ask. One says fad another says "T5 lighting was the future of lighting " ..The advice I got a while back when I was looking @ upgrading my lights was Find people w/ similar set-ups as you would like to have and see what works for them. Ask a million questions get a million different answers and decide for yourself. I guess it's all personal preference. its totally personal preference.

one big thing i like about the MH's over VHO's, PC's, T5's and the like, is that MH's give off a nice glimmer, from the disturbance of the water surface.

looks pretty cool IMO. but not the sole reason to get MH's
