Yes, blue zoo through Matt Pedersen. This has been years in the making and is really a breeders dream. Not my cup of tea, but I do appreciate them and all the hard work that went into them.

These are F1 generations and carry the pattern. There are going to be roughly 30 that go up with different levels of the patterns. Breeders will be bidding these up because of how important it is to have a true F1 generation fish.

still a maroon clown. lol interesting patterns, but not 5k worthy. i'de rather a latz if i was to get a clown that gets 6". After a bunch of people buy the F1 gens the price will be less than 100$/ea

I can say that in a few years the price should come down as the people bid on them hopefully get PNG lineage maroons to pair up. Once they start spawning, and the person keeping them has the knowledge, they could get upwards of 900 little maroons per hatch after natural deaths and culling. Maroons lay some big nests after they grow up a bit.
It's crazy how high they have gone already, essentially means they could go towards the $10K mark by the end of the auction I think.

nope...as this batch is a product of lighting X normal white stripe....
they will definitely look like momma clown once they reaches 2-3 years of age...

No they actually haven't, I have but I'm out of the running for either of the true lightnings listed right now. I may see if I can snipe the white stripes to see if they can get any lightning babies after they spawn. We'll see how it goes.
