Hi Guys, i have a 60x26x 30high tank,
I am running twin 150watt metal halide,s with magnetic ballasts, and 4x 54 watt t5s, (ati2x blue plus, and fiji purple and an atinic,
I have ran this set up for years, (changing bulbs every 6 months)
But, as all the bulbs are ready to be changed, and i am about to change over to a full zeovit set up,
I want to upgrade so that I know that i will get good SPS growth (NOTE 30" WATER DEPTH) and nice bright colours,
My options: stay as i am and just replace all the bulbs,
Go full T5, if so advice on number of bulbs required, and if so a ATI module or just seperate reflectors.
Or change to Lumenarc style twin 250 metal halide's with electronic ballasts, plus additional T5's if you think they are needed.
SORRY TO GO ON, JUST WANT TO GET IT RIGHT, SO I CAN GET SOME LOVELY COLOURED FAST GROWING SPS.
