Lights for Euphilia

I want to keep some type of Euphillia in my 20g and I want to know what the general lighting requirements are for these COOL corals. Is a 20g to small to keep Euphilia because I know that they can produce sweeper tentacles and I want to keep the mushrooms that will share the tank safe?

I've kept hammer, torch, & frogspawn under 120w PCs in a 20L with no problems.

I have my mushrooms and ricordia about 2 inches away from the euphyllia with no incidents. I very rarely see any sweepers.

I think my LFS usually has some frogspawn (thats what I would get). Would 65w PCs work in a 20H? How can you keep them from producing sweepers?

You can keep several Euphyllias together without any stinging issues. They coexists well. I have a Torch, a Frogspawn and a Hammer all in touching range, and I've never had any problems. The mushrooms should stay pretty clear of any stinging tentacles. Remember, shrooms can move!

65w might be on the low-side, but certainly doable. Keep the Euphyllias higher up in the tank.

Oh, and good flow has kept Galaxea and Bubble coral sweepers short in my tank. My Euphyllias don't seem to produce any sweepers of considerable length. I feed them regularly though, so that might be why.

my frog spawn 9branching, pink and yellow tip) have bee ndoing great in a 12g with only 24w, pretty hardy, the think to remeber is to just put them down current of other coral so there won't be any probs, I will be upgrading lights maybe this weekend.
