Are dual 175w MH and two 40w actinics on an 18" deep 55 gallon enough to keep clams? All types? Just want to make sure. Where are the best places to buy clams online?

I have never bought clams online, so cant help there.

However,

FWIW-

I have a 75 gallon tank 48"L x 18"W x 20"H

I have 2-175's and 2-95 VHO's and have no problems at all keeping any clam I like. IMO&E you should have no problems with that lighting.

Your lighting should be fine. If you purchase croceas or maximas, the closer they are to the light the better. clamsdirect.com is generally considered to be the best online retailer.
