I usually drip acclimate them in a salt bucket, when the bucket is full they are ready. You can rush it more but expect more deaths, they do not like full salt too quickly. I have noticed they breed like crazy in full salt and never once seen them eat anything but the flake I feed them. I am sure they could eat a few pods but usually they spend their time near the surface sucking scum which they are also good for.
Most importantly they are 100% natural, just like Trottie.
