I will be putting together a Deer netting screen on top. I'm not letting a Blue Spot be jerky

I had one in my tank several years ago, got him on a whim because I happened to be up at one of the fish stores and they were unpacking their latest shipment and they offered him to me for $65. I was already building a top for the tank but didn't have it done yet, not 3 days later, we couldn't find it. Found him several weeks later under the couch as fish jerky.

Very nice. Glad to see it go to good use instead of collecting dust in my garage. Is that what you wanted the stand for?

It's all good. I have the 93 going. It's going to be my SPS system and the lil guy as my LPS system. So this build will be different. My big back and fourth issue is do I drill the back for a sump or run sump less with a HOB skimmer.

The 93 will be getting a lighting upgrade soon. I am moving to have the Radion upgraded to a Pro soon. Just getting the cash together. The 25 will be getting a Arctic LED fixture from. Ocean Revive

The glass holes over flow works awesome in this little cube. Personally, I would go with sump. But, I know someone who has the same cube with an AC70 HOB filter with an Oceanic bio cube air driven skimmer in it and it works great too. All preference with a system that small IMO.

Yeah. I've been dredging it over in my mind. Clean system with no wires or plumbing visible or HOB skimmer and HOB Fuge.....ugh! Big question is what works better for an LPS system. Acan, Ricordia, Dendros, frog Spawn and Hammers. Can I get away with a HOd system or do I have to run a larger skimmer and refugium. I plan on a very light load on fish and very choosey about what corals will go in it.

I love the build process. It's like a game to me. It's all about the thrill of the hunt.

With Lps you would probably want to feed more for them to grow so the water gets dirtier I believe. Drill that puppy for a cleaner look

I have a brand new full spectrum LED fixture I get to use..the Mithras will look nice over the cube .

No I do have a sweet new fixture already. The Arctic 020

Really like the glass holes overflow. And u can't beat the price. Just about finished up the 38" stand for my sons tank. Built so that the tank sits 1 1/2" down into stand. Full opening front. All built from 1 sheet red oak.

Well here is a cool update. Completed this yesterday night. My first shot at drilling went perfectly. 1:30 seconds to cut the hole. Here are the results
