my glass in my aquarium is covered with thousands and thousands of lil white looks to be parasites about an 1/16 th of an inch long they just move around the glass i stirred up the crushed coral then an hour later noticed all theses things on the glass they never were there before should i treat with a parasite killer ????????they are lil white like lil threads so i think they must be parasites but i have no idea were they came from or how they got to be so many so quickly probably millions..please anyone have this problem before ????

I have little white worms on the glass of my 10 gallon aquarium. I think they're turning into some kind of white gnats. What are they and how do I kill them?

The worms are planarian flatworms. They have nothing to do with your "gnats." The gnats are copepods. The presence of both these animals in the tank indicates you are either overfeeding or you're not cleaning your aquarium often enough. Stop overfeeding and do a partial water change every two weeks and the problem will go away.

THAT MAKES SCENCE ABOUT THE OVER FEEDING ALTHOUGH I DO MY WATER CHANGES EVERY 2 WEEKS I HAVE BEEN FEEDING WAY TOO MUCH TRYING TO GET A LARGE COPPER BANDED TO EAT ..
THANKS BILL
