L lendz New member Jan 14, 2008 #1 Will a lionfish and a bamboo shark, catshark work in my tank? I am planning to add one. Thanx.
FishyMel New member Jan 14, 2008 #2 It is a common mix. The only concern is the lionfish accidenly stinging the sharks during a food frenzy. I'd give it a try.

reefergeorge New member Jan 14, 2008 #4 I don't have any hand on, but I wouldn't mix the lion with the shark. The ray and shark is a good mix.

L Lrgclasper New member Jan 14, 2008 #5 I had a horn shark die from a lionfish sting. What a bummer that is. I would not do it.

L lendz New member Jan 17, 2008 #8 Yes. I will be adding it in my 350gal. But will transfer my bamboo in my soon to be shark pond this year. So to add a lionfish or not?

krj-1168 Member Jan 18, 2008 #9 I wouldn't risk it. Too Many potential problems with keeping Sharks & Lions together.
