i read that liopropoma can be together as long as they are not the same species. i have added a collettei and it's getting tortured by my swalesi. looking for possible solutions to keeping both fish.
I have kept them together both as single species (wrasse bass and swissguard basslet) and as mixed (swissguard, candy and unidentified Pacific species) and other then some displaying never saw aggression or had any losses. I have only done this twice so I am not saying it is easy or a good idea but I would do it again if the occasion presents itself.

What size is your tank? I've kept a colleti, pallidum and swalesi together in a 29 for some time but I put tons of liverock in their and made sure there where lots of separate caves (kind of like designing an African cichlid tank). They were incidences of chasing every now and then - but one of the two would just dart back into their respective cave and it would be over.
