little help

hey i just went to the fish store and made my first fish purchase. I got 2 clown fishes and an algae blennie. Does anyone know how long to acclimate them for? I've been floating them for about 5 minutes now. I think i know what im doing i just would like a little reasurance. haha.

usual is 15 to 20 min... but be sure not to use the fish store's water... drain and run to your tank.

I acc. for at least 30 min or more myself, every 5 minutes adding a little more of my water.
Then I scoop out fish and dump that water.
A QT is really a good idea.
