I have tried to post pics on my gallery and it won't let me. they are in jpg form but I think the issue is file size. what program can I use to resize pics. does anybody have a safe link to a safe site?

I think there's a free program called "Ifran view" you can download. Otherwise any adobe photoshop (I'd recommend that first)

Instead of photoshop you can download a program called GIMP

It's basically identical to photoshop but it's free! Or if you want a copy of photoshop I know a guy that knows a guy that could maybe hook you up with a copy! ;)

I find that Gimp would be WAY too complex for someone with beginner or novice skills. That's why I'd recommend irfanview for just resizing your images if that is all you need. But Gimp is by far a superior program but who needs all the fluff if all you are ever gonna do is resize an image :P

No offense but theres a HUGE differnce between photoshop CS2 and gimp. I use both at work and the differences are great.

I actually have CS2 and GIMP, for the little I've used it for I can't tell a difference. But all I usually use it for is resizing pics so they fit the screen better. I haven't gotten into any serious picture editing yet though.

You'd notice a difference in about five seconds if you tried to do anything besides resizing. GIMP is good for open-source, but Adobe products consistently beat it for performance and usability.
