little star fish

I am finding little star fish all over my tank, my buddy told me that they can eat zoas. So my question is can they harm my zoas and if so what can I do to kill them or what can I put in my tank to eat them?

They are asterina stars and word is they can be harmful. I have them and not taking any chances. Just got a harliquin shrimp and he's busy mowing them down for me. I tried just picking them out but seemed to be losing the battle.
