Hello!

I'm wondering if anyone knows where I can get some live mysis/mysid/feeder shrimp in St. Louis? Also any suggestions of tiny crustaceans of that size would be helpful. I just need about 10 or 20, maybe 50 if I HAD to buy more, so shipping them overnight seems ridiculous...

I don't know of anyplace to get them, but I am very curious as to why you would need such a small amount. And why do they need to be alive?

I set up a tiny TINY tank on my desk at work. It's only one gallon but I love it! It's run through it's cycle and has a good little group of pods, as well as a snail and some halimeda. I even made a little chaeto fuge out of the hob filter! But I want some real activity and another rc member suggested those would be great because of their small size. I wanted to use sexy shrimp but I was told they typically need more room. I am also looking for any new inhabitant ideas if you have any. I am thinking I might have some really intense zoas. Or sun corals. Or whatever. But I want something to move around in there and the feeder shrimp are small enough to live in there.

I would love to see some pics of this tank.

I have a few little snails that would survive in there. They aren't going to be super exciting but they move.

You could try a Molly.
