Live fish from petco online.

I have ordered from petco online and had them get in fish for me at store..Like said ,,get the fish before they introduce them to their tanks..

ive ordered a lion fish from petco a couple years back, had a hard time finding one locally. Fish was in great shape, packaged very well. lived for a long time, ended up trading it to a friend..

Our local petco had a pretty achilles tang last week. If never buy one but it looked healthy. They also had just gotten 4 purple tangs in. They were selling the purples and achilles for 150 each. Pretty good price on those. I got a powder brown from a guy that bought it at petco. He qt'd it for two weeks and then sold it at the same cost to me. I've had it a few months now. He has spotted up some but he's doing fine. In sure he got the ich in my tank. All fish are healthy. Just occasional spots. I would never buy an expensive fish in their store though. Their tanks are nasty. But if I could get a deal online then I'd buy from them.

I'm pretty certain that the distinction needs to be made that Petco online to your door is quality marine. Local stores have a various wholesalers, sometimes quality marine.

I'm pretty sure they do, I know they supply the Petco near me and I was told by a manager there, that depending on the fish and certain other factors that the fish could be dropped shipped from there and that they have supplied online orders before.

Brick and Mortar stores are different from their online dept. Brick and mortar Petcos are usually at the discretion of the local store manager where orders come from. Online live fish ordering is handled by corporate.

I know segrest supplies some Petcos but the one I'm taking about will only order their freshwater fish from them. This Petco actually has other fish I have never seen in any other Petco. I have seen swallowtail angels, sunburst anthias, blotchy anthias and Bartletts anthias in this one. That just to name a few that I have never run across in any other Petco.

Yea in some cases it does, but there aren't many saltwater suppliers in the US. It's not like ordering a light bulb were there are 300 warehouses holding inventory.

A&M for coral wholesale online is what my bud said when he called a rep a couple months ago.
