Anyone order corals from online petco before?

The corals in the store look horrible. They may be better online. It could just be the lighting. I wouldn't put one of the corals they have in their store tank if they gave it to me.

Since DFS is a primary buyer from QM, they should know whether Petco online is shipping from them.
Just because they are a primary buyer doesn't make them all-knowing or honest in the matter. Their tone in these posts seems suspicious that we aren't getting the whole story here. They want our $... So no, I won't trust an incomplete story. Seems like there could be agreements or a controlling parent company involved.
The online stores want to hide the true sources/distributors and keep the consumers ignorant. There simply isn't many distributors. They want to keep us from shopping around and prohibit a competitive market. It's simple business strategy and, in this scenario, doesn't benefit the consumers.
Still wish someone knew who CIS was.
All I want is an honest answer to know what I am really paying for.

Not saying for a min live aquaria isn't great. I have bought from them in the past and will again. But competitors are competitors
I was not questioning whether what he said was clear. I know what he was saying. I am questioning whether he is reliable source for this information. I'm saying that his tone is suspicious because he is talking about something that nothing to with him and everything to do with his competitors. Its obvious that he is trying to make us not trust Petco.
And why did he need to reiterate with bold letters like we could read it once. Reiterating the same info doesn't make it anymore trustworthy.

Not all of us have had the same or any interactions with LA to automatically assume the highest transparency, integrity, and honesty.
Petco prices are competitive with my LFS. LA prices do not compete with my reliable, trustworthy, well priced LFS. There are a few differences with availability and other factors between the 3 as well but not enough to make me order from LA yet.
