Just because they are a primary buyer doesn't make them all-knowing or honest in the matter. Their tone in these posts seems suspicious that we aren't getting the whole story here. They want our $... So no, I won't trust an incomplete story. Seems like there could be agreements or a controlling parent company involved.
The online stores want to hide the true sources/distributors and keep the consumers ignorant. There simply isn't many distributors. They want to keep us from shopping around and prohibit a competitive market. It's simple business strategy and, in this scenario, doesn't benefit the consumers.
Still wish someone knew who CIS was.
All I want is an honest answer to know what I am really paying for.
