Never said I was not using a mobo Raid, just said not using software raid. a motherboard is Hardware, there is an actual promise chip on it. Aren't you in IT? :lol:

Perc have gotten better. I ama bout to evaluate the 610/710 for use in production. Still working out the specs...I sure hope the PERC 6 does better than all previous generations have...
