Live rock column

I want to make a column of live rock. I plan to drill the rock and put a fiberglass or pvc rod through them to stabilize them. I really don't want to rearrange all the rock in the tank just add the column in a rear corner where I have some room. I don't think just standing the column in the corner will be very stable and I don't know if I can wedge other rocks to keep it stable.

Has anyone rigged up something that could hold the top of the column to the top of the tank. Something like a simple acrylic hook over the top of the tank. I wouldn't be "hanging" the column there. The weight would be on the bottom of the tank the bracket would just be for stabilization.

you could make an "H" out of pvc at the bottom as a stand. Then bury it under the sand. that's what I did with my collumn of drilled LR.
