First off, I want to give props to PA as my favorite on-line vendor. I've ordered several times and not only have I never been disappointed, I am usually pleasantly surprised with the overall ordering experience.
I recently ordered 13 pounds of the nano live rock (one 5 pound order and then 8 more pounds a week later), and as usual, was VERY happy with what I received.
My question is this:
I used the 13 pounds of rock to cycle a 10 gallon QT tank. I know that the rock is supposed to be fully cured, but used the die off from shipping to start the cycle. Now ammonia and nitrites are down to 0, which I guess means that the cycle is over. Is is ok to move the rock into my 22 gallon display now? I have no fish in the display but do have several ricordea and zoanthid frags and I don't want to throw off the parameters by adding the new rock if it's not ready to be added.
BTW, I have no fish in the QT either, just wanted to get it ready for fish when I do get some. I will have no rock in there, just pieces of PVC. Thanks, and sorry for the wordy post!
Pete
