If a LFS sells LR that is in a system connect to their shop tanks, isn't there a chance for ich to be present if I add it to my tank? Great number of fish in LFS tanks will have ich, isn't it able to live on the rock?
Yes. If the liverock tank is connected to the rest of the stock tanks (and they usually are) then you can certainly pass ich into your aquarium by purchasing and adding unquarantined live rock.
