Live Rocks

Hello everyone, I am new to the reef aquarium but I had a small one set up for about a year. Just aquired a 65 gal from a friend and would like to know of any local places that I could buy sand and live rocks from. Any sugestions on the setup process will be welcome, here is what I have so far:

Stand + hood
outside hanging filter
65 gallon tank
(4) Maxi-Jet 900 Power Head
Aqualifter Pump
Ground Probe
Digital Thermometer
GFCI socket

Need a:

hood light
moon light (blue?)
sand
live rock
some type of frame to setup the rock on, make it look cool not just a pile of rocks.

Sea Life Inc in the Florida Keys sells some good rock and since you're close by, shipping should be reasonable. The rock has lots of cool critters and is only 3.50 a pound. They sell live sand too.

The equiptment you have looks Ok so far. I would ditch the hang on filter if you are getting enough live rock. I have an emperor hangon on my 100 gallon and took the filters out. I put live rock rubble in it.

If you are getting at least 1lb/gallon of live rock, then you don't need the mechanical or bio media in the hang on filter. Just use it for flow and carbon.

I appreciate all the feedback, specially the link for the local stuff. I will definitely try the ýstore in the keys. Once I setup the tank I start taking pictures and post as I progress through the project, again thanks.
