live sand

You can try Fishy Business in Lexington, Petsmart or Petco should have it as well. But I like doing business with Bruce or for that matter anyone with an LFS.

unless you really need live sand, regular argonite-based sand will be "live" within a matter of weeks, as long as you have live rock

no but I have 56 gal tank that I was going put everything in to a 120 gal tank an I thought I needed live sand to finsh the base I have 60 pds of rocks 60 pds of sand

I can't recall the brand... I want to say it's Caribe Sand, but one of the Brand names has an Activated "dry" bacteria, which also serves as a clarifier.

I was really pleased with those two out of the three bags I had to buy recenty. One bag wasn't that brand.

(And I replaced all my Old sand too, rather than recycling it, when I went to the bigger tank. Something about not wanting to pull over old sins, namely Bristleworms.)

Aquatic Critter in Nashville will also have it if Memphis isn't in your travel plan.

yea, just buy more of an Argonite-based sand, such as the Caribsea sand that macroshark said, because the bacteria on live rock will eventually move and multiply to your sand

I have already made the change .An so far everything is looking good . All I need now is a sump an I am working on that. thanks guys for the help
