Liveaquaria Thoughts?

Just wanted to hear your experience with Liveaquaria. Such as fish arrival, health, avaliability etc. I am thinking about getting some fish and my LFS are not really up to par in my opinion. Is it worth the shipping rate and things like that?

In my opinion, Yes the shipping is worth it.Live Aquaria has fine livestock, & Divers Den is nothing short of superb as well!

Fish always arrive well packaged, healthy, and are usually eating within the first day!

Diver's Den is amazing and overall Liveaquaria's service is top notch. I'm actually looking forward to doing another order with them soon.

I have been very impressed with the first on only shipment I have gotten from LiveAquaria a week ago. The fish were very health and started eating right away. In fact I was so impressed I may by two fish that amount to a total of $30 and and pay the $35 shipping because I know I will get good fish.

i only buy online with liveaquaria and have gotten a divers den item or two. healthy specimens and usually eating either immediately after acclimated. their web page is updated daily and their stock is 2nd to none. i have only used their doa policy once they took really good care of me. i usually save up for the free shipping 225 and over.

Thanks for the repsones! I love hearing all the positive feedback. To me it might be worth it because the LFS around me are not the best quality and have not for a while. They have soon slowed down a lot and i havent been happy with the fish coming in. So i might lean towards trying out Liveaquaria and see how it goes.

Divers den and live aquaria are two separate locations.

Quality Marine (LA's Wholesaler) ships fish directly from their location in CA to you.

Divers Den comes from Quality Marine to the DD facility in WI. They hold them, medicate them, and get them eating before shipping them to you.

You should still QT all fish you get but if you are one of those "just drop it in" kind of reefers you should only purchase fish from locations like Divers Den. They have done a lot of the hard work for you. All of my purchases through them have been awesome!!

It is worth the wait and the additional cost involved to order from Divers Den. You get what you pay for. They might not have what you want now but be patient and it will show up. If the item is rare then you will need to be on the gun however even common items are snatched up in seconds should someone else be determined to get it. Sign up for the newsletter and watch it daily. Email shows up early afternoon. They update the site at about 6pm est. If the item is on the first email look at their current stock and anything else that is on the list. Make your mind up before they update the site and include items you would like should you need some extra purchases to hit free shipping. You need 225 for free shipping. Sign up on their site and store your payment info. Refresh the page constantly about 5 or so minutes before they normally update until you see the update. Quickly put what you want in the cart and checkout. I can get what I want including extras should I need it and be checked out in under 15 seconds, so if you're after what I am after be ready

Divers Den has a really nice setup. Hope to check it out some day.
