Livestock list

My current livestock list is...

1 Coral Beauty - Cora
1 Midas Blenny - Midas
1 Yellowhead Sleeper Goby - Goldie
3 Chromis - The Gang
1 False Perc Clown - Ziggy
1 Sally Lt Foot - Sally
1 Coral Banded Shrimp - Jaqcue
About 50 various snails
Around 60 lbs LR
and a 3 inch LS bed

Tank has been up and running stable for about 2 years now the last fish ( Midas ) was added in about 4 months ago.

My question is this...I want a show fish, that one fish that catches the eye. I love Powder Blues but to my understanding they can get a bit uppity in this VERY mellow tank. Any other suggestions.?

Your tank is to small for Tank and probably for a Fox Face as well. A Coral Beauty is pretty high on my list for eye catching. What smaller fish have you seen that you like?

7 fish in a 55 is getting close to your limit IMO if you add more chose very carefully your chromis and coral beauty (water column and in the rocks} along with your sleeper goby (sand bed) have all the territories occupied .It seems like there is no territory left for a new fish . Perhaps a nice fairy wrasse solar or scotts would be nice . The only problem is it will probably have to fight to establish its own position in the tank. Make sure and get a strong one that is recovered from the stress of shipping and good luck I wouldn't try it if I were you withou getting rid of at least one of the existing fish in the tank.

I agree that a fairy wrasse would be a good choice in this tank. I really would skip a tang if I were you. It isn't a fish that you can keep in there long term, and you have quite a few fish already. Here is a link to fairy wrasses. I love my rosy scaled and mystery wrasse so take a look at those!

i'm with sassafrass - i've got a flasher wrasse in with my happy fish and he is just fine with everybody.
