i scored a bunch of stuff for my nuvo 40 off a local fb page today for super cheap. Im not really sure if i need this stuff or the best way to incorporate it all into my system but it was a steal of a deal and i couldn't pass it up.
i got a couple media baskets, the innovative marine fuge light, innovative marine mid size reactor, a bunch of fish food, 2 mp10s, a ton of dosing chemicals, 2 of the spinning return pump nozzles, and some other stuff im forgetting.
im going to make a little fuge with a media basket using filter floss on top, chaeto in the middle with marine pure bio balls in the bottom
the fuge won't be very big but the lady i got all this from said it grew cheato like crazy so im sure it will lower nitrates and phosphorus.
my main question is what should i run in the reactor?
i dont have a skimmer and im currently using a filter sock and a media basket with filter floss, chemi pure blue and marine pure bio balls.
my end goal with this tank is about 7 fish, a few soft corals, mainly lps with a few sps down the road
any help would be appreciated
