lobo flesh coming off!!!!!

I've had my lobo for 2 years and all of a sudden the flesh has stared to peel off exposing the skeleton! It got partially buried in the sand for a day or two. Can it be saved or should I ditch it before it crashes my nano? Help!

It can probably be saved. I would move it to a lower light, low current area to heal. Dip it in a high iodine dip. Since there are no abrupt changes that caused this (at least none mentioned)you will want to look for long term factors taht could have caused this. I have heard of strontium deficiencies implicated in such events.

I just got a lobo that only had a little flesh left (basically an empty skeleton. The thing came back in 1 month and now has 4 heads.

Thanks guy but I had to ditch it. It was 3/4 of the way gone and crashing my 7gallon in a huge hurry.
