Loc-line size question...end cap size?

I have a standard 210 and it came with the mega flow setup and has two returns that each have the dual split loc-lines on it. I was wanting to reduce those two dual loc-lines to 2 single loc-line returns. It seems that I should simply be able to use an end cap on one of each of the dual loc-lines, right? I'm a little confused on the sizing of the loc-lines as I see them sold in both 3/4" and 1/2" sizing. Is this the size of the threaded portion that connects to the standpipe or are the actual loc-line pieces available in both 3/4" and 1/2" sizes (I'm referring to the multiple bulb pieces that connect to each other here)?

I'm unable to find a 3/4" end cap for the loc-line so I'm assuming all the loc-line pieces are really 1/2" on the movable ball pieces and the sizing difference is only on the portion that connects to the standpipe...right? If that is correct regardless whether or not I have the a 3/4" or 1/2" return this should fit to plug up one of the dual ends right?

They don't sell a 3/4" end cap on their site either..
