I'm planning on calling him tonite, I can get them tommorrow but when i spoke to him originally he never mentioned Tues, only Monday as he had a meeting at the downtown jobsite, so I don't think he'll be back there till they are ready for him to do his work. I will try to get a day that is good for him so we can work out who can grab em. Hopefully me tommorrow!

just got off the phone with him and he says he will most likely be there next Monday, he says he has 4 available and I told him we want them all. Fuppets LMK if you are going to pick them up Monday. You'll prolly need an open bed truck as they will prolly have to stand up to transport them, they do not fit inside of each other. If you can't do it I can get them next Tuesday but he would just leave them somewhere for me cause I can't get there till 3:30pm.

Well, I got "bumped" off my assignment last night. I now have tuesdays and wednesdays off. I could make the pick up it it were on either of those days. If not my room mate might be able to if he's off.

Just for info my truck is an F150 4 door with the short bed. No bed cover but I have a few tie down straps. Not sure how many we could fit but 4 should be no problem at all. I would think 6 standing up should fit in the bed. I could go out and measure it if need be.

you can get two 55 gallon barrels sstanding up, side-by-side in the rear of an S-10 towards the cab. I dont think the wheel wells will permit 6, but I know you could put 5 in there (two behind cab, one center, two after wheel wells). If he has only 4 available that should be easy to stick in the bed of a full size.

called and left him a message yesterday, Thursday, no response. I'll call him Saturday again then give up. He said he got a lot of response for them when I talked to him the second time(craigslist). I suspect he may have given them to somebody else closer to him who could just pick them up from him. If this falls through I will just buy the refurbished ones I found for $28. I'll keep you posted.

yeah, he definitely has a steady supply, hopefully if he is giving them to someone else they don't have a steady demand for them. I could be totally wrong though, we will see.

think its worth giving this guy another shot? IIRC someone else in the CMAS forum recently mentioned a guy on craig's list giving away blue barrels.

yeah i saw that too...Bob i'll look for his # and you can give it a try if you are so inclined, for $28 dollars i can get one from a company in Posen plus they have all kinds/sizes and shapes to check out. when I am ready I'm gonna go there(a couple weeks). I'll post about it before I do.
