Local meeting in Pottsville 17901

Hi all. I have been tossing around the idea of having a meeting at my house to get together and talk reefin! I have had a few people ask me about more regular meetings and so I have discussed it with some of the people in the area. It seemed to me like people were interested. It would be an informal meeting just to get to know locals and hang out. As the title says, I live in Pottsville. I was thinking Sunday March 14th around 330 or 4.
 
That was a randomly picked day. Is there a better day that works for everyone? Sundays at that time is best for me. Saturdays would work too, but it would have to be after church which would be around 6
 
Joe it may be a good idea to send an email to all the members in case they don't see this thread.I know one of the BOD has a list,probably Mary.
 
I can go. Also, I was at the Renegade Reefers swap yesterday and got a few good ideas. Or maybe they are just ideas, you guys decide. First, everyone was asked to bring something to eat or drink. I brought chips as did a lot of people, but there were donuts, cakes, hots dogs, pulled pork, and meatballs. A few people brought beer and wine as well as soda. It was a very comfortable setting to just sit around, have a sandwich, and drink a beer. The other thing I really liked was the actual swap. Anyone could bring up to 3 frags, put them in a 30g tank, take 3 numbers, and the numbers you picked determined the order you got to pick a frag from the tank. I would say most frags were in the $5-10 range, nothing big, but most of it was nice. I got a head of frogspawn, a frag of nice zoas, and a little piece of superman monti. There were all kinds of frags from cloves to leathers to LPS and SPS. I can't remember there being any restrictions on what to bring, I think the only stipulation was to bring something that wasn't garbage you wanted gone. If we could get 10 people bringing a few frags each, it could fun - if Joe doesn't mind filling up a small tank.
 
Well the 14th works best for me, so Im gonna stick with that. 14th at 4. I will pull out a tank and powerhead if we want to do a pot luck swap. Dominos does four pizzas for 20 bucks or so, if we wanna do that and I have a case or case and a half of beer in my workshop but Ill need to crack one and make sure it never froze.
 
i wont be able to make it due to my birthday festivities...but id be willing to host something at my house in Wilkes-Barre at some point if anyone was interested.
 
Well the 14th is next week. For attendance I have Shawn, Brad, Marty, Carl, and Rick (a little later). Carl, do you know if Mary is going to come? You two also knew an older gentleman at the swap from right around here and Mary mentioned someone from St Claire.

My address is 20 E Bacon St., Pottsville, PA 17901. Take note that I live in the borough of Palo Alto. You may notice the signs saying that. I am right on the main street in town. Parking is only on one side. I am friends with the owner of Guldins Automotive which is across the street from me if you need a place to park.
